​Maria Tuner - Norwegian actress and scriptwriter.

I got my Associate of Occupational Studies degree at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, 2019. Shortly after graduating, I co-wrote and starred in the dark comedy short film “Darling, You’re So Mean To Me” which ended up earning multiple awards in USA. I was nominated “Best Actress” at “New York Movie Awards”, 2020 for my role as Bonnie in the film. 

During the pandemic I wrote a web series called "Purely Friends".
​I created the show to feature me and my roommates so that we could all stay productive and keep acting in a safe environment when we were all quarantined together. The show can be viewed on YouTube under the channel name "Maria Tuner". 

I'm currently working as a freelancer in the Norwegian film industry. My spare time is well spent writing a feature film as well as working on different film projects. 

There are a lot of exciting projects on the 2024 horizon for me - one of them being my debut as a film director.
