Maria Tuner is a Norwegian actress and scriptwriter. She got her Associate's Degree in Occupational Studies at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, 2019. She has since then co-written and starred in the dark comedy short film “Darling, You’re So Mean To Me” which ended up earning her multiple awards as well as being nominated for “Best Actress” at “New York Movie Awards”, 2020. Maria started her own web series during the quarantine called "Purely Friends". She created the show to feature her and her roommates so that they could stay productive and keep acting in a safe environment. The show can be viewed on YouTube under the channel name "Maria Tuner". Maria moved back to Norway in 2020 and is currently writing a feature film as well as working on other projects. She was recently in the short film "E det Muligt" (English title: "The Coins") which can be viewed on Altibox, a streaming service in Norway and she just attended the 48-hour film challenge during The Norwegian International Film Festival, 2023.
